Climate advocates stage a rally outside the Chinese embassy in Makati City on the first year of Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s policy announcement that China would no longer build new coal-fired power projects abroad. The activists called on China to fulfill the pledge and showcase China’s renewable energy advocacy by converting the projected coal power projects to renewable energy facilities.
