A former newspaper reporter is set to launch next month her new book on innovative technologies and organic farming methods envisioned to help address mass poverty and hunger in the country.
The author, Virginia Rodriguez, said she wanted to help the Marcos administration, so she decided to write and produce the book with the title “Leave Nobody Hungry”.
Rodriguez is confident that her book would help millions of farmers in the country to increase their harvest, including rice, corn, and other crops.
She added that the contents of the book was an answer to President Marcos’ “food crisis agenda”, including the “Masaganang 150” which was being promoted by the Chief Executive himself.
Apart from “food security,” the book also tackles the creation of many jobs that the government wants to happen.
Marcos, together with other senior government officials, is expected to attend the book launch, to be held this September at the Centennial Hall of the Manila Hotel.
