Cebu Pacific deploys larger A320neo jet

Cebu Pacific has deployed a bigger aircraft for its Tacloban, Dumaguete, and Butuan flights to meet higher demand brought about by relaxed restrictions and pent-up desire to travel.

“We recently added more seats using our new A320neo as we see increasing demand. This upgrade will accommodate more passengers and carry more cargo,” said Cebu Pacific chief commercial officer Xander Lao.

“We are the airline that serves these three destinations the most, which encourages trade and tourism in the Visayas and Mindanao,” he added.

The A320NEO—an environmentally friendly aircraft with less fuel emission and reduced noise—features 188 seats equipped with USB ports that allow passengers to charge their mobile devices inflight.

Cebu Pacific currently flies up to six times daily between Manila and Tacloban. For the Cebu-Tacloban route, the airline flies twice daily every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and three times daily every Monday and Friday.
