First Balfour Inc., the Lopez Group’s engineering and construction arm, reaches an agreement with The Plastic Flamingo Philippines, a pro-environment social enterprise and recycler, to help reduce the country’s problem with plastic waste. The PLAF operates facilities in Muntinlupa for recycling plastic trash into sustainable construction materials, such as ecoboards, ecolumbers, pellets, emergency shelters, benches, racks, tables and other furniture items.
