Malykhin fires back at Bhullar: He’s my little baby chicken

ONE Interim Heavyweight World Champion Anataly “Sladkiy” Malykhin fired back at current titleholder Arjan “Singh” Bhullar after the Indian-Canadian star called him a coward.

Bhullar stated that he would “deliver Malykhin’s head” should they square off in the Circle, and it’s something the Russian didn’t take a liking to, blasting the American Kickboxing Academy standout for “ducking” him.

“[Bhullar] is my little baby chicken who is clinging on to the belt that should be mine. He’s not a real champion. He keeps hiding from strong opponents, tries to choose convenient opponents,” Malykhin told ONEFC.com.

“I am a Russian Freestyle Wrestling Champion, so he won’t be able to surprise me. His striking is very weak, it looks like he is trying to swat a mosquito. People will forget him after I am finished with him.”

Malykhin has been on absolute tear in The Home of Martial Arts, having won all of his three bouts via finishes enroute to winning the interim World Title.

Bhullar, on the other hand, took the crown by beating longtime heavyweight king Brandon “The Truth” Vera, but Malykhin was far from impressed as he believes that the Filipino-American has seen better days.

“No disrespect to the legend. [Vera] was a great champ and [held] that belt for a while, but I think he was already very tired and mentally done,” he said.

While Bhullar exhumed tons of confidence when asked about his potential unification bout with Malykhin, “Sladkiy” isn’t bothered with what his opponent might bring to the table.

At the end of the day, he believes that he’ll have the answers to whatever Bhullar shows up with in their inevitable clash.

“People like that have a habit of projecting their own problems on others. We will see who is who during the fight. I am faster, stronger, have better punches, and my stamina is great,” he said.

“If he is brave enough to sign the contract, he will, and then you’ll see how he falls on the canvas.”
