SMART/MVP Sports Foundation national taekwondo para-athlete Allain Keanu Ganapin clinched the gold medal in the Male -80kg K44 Class in the recently concluded 2022 Sharjah Qualification Tournament in the United Arab Emirates.
Ganapin showed resilience and toughness in dominating his Kazakhstan opponent en route to a dominant 10-0 win in the finals of the competition, which attracted competitors from 12 countries such as Japan, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Thailand, India, Mongolia, Nepal, Laos, and Bahrain.

With the victory, the Philippine Taekwondo Para Team member has qualified for the Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
