San Miguel Corp.’s education assistance beneficiaries participate in community activities, such as coastal clean-up, greening projects and seminars as part of their values formation as future leaders. SMC’s educational assistance program focuses on children of disadvantaged families near its planned development sites nationwide as part of an advocacy to help improve learning outcomes and increase their life chances. SMC president Ramon Ang said the program will benefit some 292 elementary, junior high, senior high and college students around communities it serves in Bulacan, Quezon province, Batangas and General Santos City.
