Dia del Libro

A mother guides her daughter through a picture book while others browse through books written by Spaniards and Filipinos in the Spanish language sold at affordable prices on Saturday. This was part of ‘Dia del Libro’, a one-day celebration on books and poetry opened at the Instituto Cervantes in Intramuros, Manila. The program, in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain, included hand-copying of Miguel de Cervantes’ novel Don Quixote and an online poetry reading of major Fil-Hispanic poems.
