Former Rep.Erin Tañada, senatorial campaign manager of the Robredo-Pangilinan camp said Vice President Leni Robredo puts the interest of the people above her own as she and her entire family choose to celebrate her special day with the very same people that she has been serving for the past six years.

“For her, the Filipino people are her family,” Tañada said.

A “grand rally” has been set to mark Robredo’s 57th birthday on April 23 on Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City. The event is initiated and organized by an army of supporters and volunteers as a “birthday gift” to the vice president.

The event has been dubbed “Ang Araw ni Leni, Araw Nating Lahat.”

Organizers hope  to outdo all Robredo’s previous political rallies in terms of the number of attendees, targeting mostly those still undecided and her new supporters.

Tanada said the vice president’s genuine dedication to her sworn duty to the masses and to the “people in the peripheries,” is one of the reasons many people are supporting her presidential bid.

“She is unstoppable,” Tañada said, adding that the people see right

through all the disinformation and the fake news being hurled at Robredo by the other camps.

He said this is the reason many have decided to join her campaign.

“We will see it this coming Saturday,” said Tanada, following his fearless forecast that hundreds of thousands of people will troop to Macapagal Boulevard for Robredo’s “birthday

Organizers are inviting everyone to join the grand rally and are encouraging supporters to bring friends or family members who are either undecided or are voting for another candidate to attend the event’s “Art Jam,” “Street Party,” and “People’s Rally.”

Participants in Saturday’s event are encouraged to wear the colors of their aspirations: white for good health, blue for jobs generation, yellow for better education, red for food security, pink for a better life, and other colors.
