The excavation work at the northbound direction of the north portal will significantly speed up project delivery. Once completed, the bypass road will mitigate congestions in Davao City with the travel time between Barangay Sirawan in Toril District and Barangay J.P. Laurel in Panabo City to be reduced to 49 minutes from 1 hour and 44 minutes.
