SEA’s 1st SME superapp Enstack launched; 10k merchants sign up

Southeast Asia’s first SME supperapp Enstack enters strong in the Philippines. Since launching in beta late in February, Enstack has helped over 10,000 merchants by providing them with all the tools to run their small business directly from their mobile phones.

Enstack is a fast, free, and easy-to-use SME superapp that provides entrepreneurs with all operational, logistical, and financial tools they need in a single platform. On Enstack, businesses can accept orders from customers over the phone, in person, and online via its revolutionary Chat Store. With the Chat Store, merchants can automatically receive orders via their Facebook Messenger accounts, without replying to each message, and directly fulfill them using the Enstack app so they never miss a sale.

SMEs can also offer customers multiple payment options, including Cash On Delivery, GCash, Paymaya, BPI and Unionbank direct debit, and ship packages with integrated logistics providers such as Grab and 2Go directly from the app. Other management tools include sales and expenses recording, inventory management, and analytics. Enstack is free to use, reducing barriers among SMEs to digitize due to costs.

“Running a business from home can be exhausting. On top of the manual labor required, I also spend a lot of time using different apps and tools to ensure all orders are received, processed and delivered timely to customers. With Enstack, I can now automatically receive orders with Chat Store, get paid whatever way my customer wants whether it’s COD, GCash, or bank transfer, and send products on the same day through Grab using just one app,” said Sunshine Mesias of Eishan Shop.

Behind Enstack is Oriente, who has provided Filipinos access to credit through their Shop Now, Pay Later services. With Enstack, it expands its focus on Southeast Asian SMEs and strengthens its mission to empower local merchants.

“After supporting the biggest merchants through our digital credit services, we now want to optimize the smallest of businesses so they can keep up with the rise in digital consumers. After seeing the swift growth and adoption of our free easy-to-use superapp, driven purely by word-of-mouth, we know we’ve created a game changer with Enstack. We’re glad to see our initial group of over 10,000 SMEs, led by merchants in food and beverage, feel empowered as they take their first step towards digitization so they can be more efficient, profitable, and thrive in today’s economy,” shared Geoffrey Prentice, co-founder of Oriente.

“According to the World Economic Forum, SMEs make up 99.5% of business in the Philippines but only contribute 36% to the local economy. Lack of access to digital technologies that allow SMEs to adapt to new ways of doing business may decrease this number further. Technologies like Enstack help small local businesses maximize their potential and increase their contribution to the economy so we can close this gap,” said Lance Gokongwei, President and Chief Executive Officer of JG Summit Holdings, Inc.

Enstack is available in the Philippines and Vietnam and is set to launch in other Southeast Asian countries in the next 18 months. It is free to download on the App Store and Google Play.
