The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) released about P2.2 billion worth of housing loans for low-income families, in 2021.
Through the Community Mortgage Program (CMP), the agency provided homes to a total of 8,883 families across the country through roughly P1.6 billion in loan assistance last year.
Meanwhile, the High Density Housing Program (HDH), a slum redevelopment strategy where informal settler families (ISFs) in Metro Manila are accommodated in multistory buildings, benefited some 2,034 families through P325.9 million in loan assistance in 2021.
