ICTSI Rio Brasil 1, a subsidiary of International Container Terminals Services Inc., kicks off its newest partnership with CMA CGM after receiving the inaugural call of the French shipping line’s Brazil Express Loop 2 service. The service was formally launched at the Port of Rio de Janeiro with the arrival of the 2,284-TEU CMA CGM Malta on Dec. 16. Operated by a fleet of five ships, the service rotates through Jamaica’s capital port Kingston, Port of Spain in Trinidad, the Brazilian ports of Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Navegantes and Vila de Conde and lastly Caucedo in the Dominican Republic, before heading back to Kingston.
