Filipinos working abroad walk in front of the Manila Mega Covid-19 Hospital in Burnham grass, Luneta. The workers are scheduled for release after completing quarantine. The Department of Health has cut the isolation and quarantine periods for confirmed cases and close contacts amid the steeply increasing number of COVID-19 cases attributed to the Omicron variant. The isolation period of a fully vaccinated asymptomatic person has been reduced from 10 to 7 days.
