The call for expanded screening of newborn disorders was spearheaded by Dr. Padilla who said, “Early identification and timely intervention can lead to a significant reduction of morbidity, mortality, and associated disabilities in affected infants. We need to change their diet.”
The lady genetics pioneer has supported the intake of a special milk to address the matter in line with Mead Johnson Nutrition/ Reckitt Benckiser donating specialized milk formula from the US to children with disorders. For the coming new decade, she hopes to spread her cause through various media platforms.
