The government remains on target of achieving its goal of increasing its infrastructure spending to 7 percent of the gross domestic product by 2022, the Investment Coordination Committee-Cabinet Committee said in a statement Friday.
“The Duterte administration will continue to ensure that all projects are implemented on time and on budget. We remain on track in achieving our target of accelerating infrastructure spending to 7 percent of GDP by 2022,” the ICC said.
In a meeting Friday, the ICC members approved 12 infrastructure projects. These include the Unsolicited Operate-Add-Transfer Proposal for the Davao International Airport; Unsolicited Operate-Add-Transfer Proposal for the Laguindingan Airport; MRT-4 Project; EDSA Greenways Project; Maritime Safety Enhancement Program; Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge Project.
