Philippine Canoe Kayak Dragon Boat Federation president Jonne Go was recently elected as Vice President of the Asian Canoe Federation.

Go was elected during the Asian Canoe Congress held last week in Pattaya, Thailand.

She joined two others for the Continental Federation’s second highest post.

The two were Svetlana Kulokova of Kazakhstan and Kim Yongbin of Korea.

Go also retained her post as Continental Representative of Asia at canoe’s world governing body, the International Canoe Federation or ICF.

She is currently the auditor of the Philippine Olympic Committee.

In the recent 30th Southeast Asian Games, the Philippines finished seventh, with one gold, two silvers and two bronzes.

During the elections, Shoken Narita was retained president.
