A post 30th Southeast Asian Games discussion along with the country’s newly crowned world boxing champion make up the final session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum for the year 2019 at the Amelie Hotel-Manila.
Philippine Sports Institute National Training Director Marc Velasco and Philippine Sports Commission Executive Director Atty. Guillermo Iroy will be talking about the country’s recent campaign in the SEA Games in which the Philippines regained the overall championship after 14 years.
The two represents Team PH Chef De Mission and PSC Chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez in the weekly forum presented by San Miguel Corp., Braska Restaurant, Amelie Hotel, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.
Sharing centerstage with them is new World Boxing Organization bantamweight champion Johnriel Casimero and Manny Pacquiao Promotions President Sean Gibbons.
It will be the first formal public appearance for the 29-year-old Casimero since scoring a third round stoppage of South African Zolanie Tete in Birmingham, England to capture the WBO 118-lb. belt.
