Fujitsu launched at One Corporate Center, in Ortigas recently the smallest and most versatile image scanner in its class, ideal to operate for limited workspaces and increased efficiency.
"We are introducing the fi-800R, our next generation compact scanner. As the smallest image scanner in its class, the fi-800R is simply easy to operate and ideal scanner for limited workspaces," Fujitsu Imaging Products Product Manager, Paula Vicente said.
The scanner is equipped with the world's first technology that autocorrects skewed documents, checks document orientation and sorts documents for a more simplified pre-scanning operation.
The fi-800R has three main features, namely passport scanning, compact design, and easy operation.
It supports A4 sized documents, booklet scanning, and continuous ADF document scanning. These comprehensive features reduce operator workload and assists in reception operations to further increase office work efficiency.
These all-around features are made possible with its three-punch combination of features such as Dual Path Mechanism, Return Scan, and U-turn Scan. These features enable the scanner to automatically switch the appropriate path, making users scan a mixed batch of documents without any interruptions.
Its Automatic Skew Correction and Active Skew Correction correct inappropriately placed documents one by one, preventing document jams or missing parts of a scanned image. These two features ensure steady scanning.
For passport scanning, its PaperStream IP and PaperStream capture allow efficient scanning of information. Confidential information such as passport numbers, name, and nationality is contained and can be extracted by PaperStream Capture for a more efficient entry of customer information.
Its Front Side Detection Function also automatically determines the front and back side to organize scanned documents in a correct order.
The price of fi-800R price is still to be announced, and Vicente added that Fujitsu is aiming a target price of lower than P50,000, with one-year warranty.
