Rebisco partners with the Regional Lead School of the Arts of Angono (RLSAA) and with other well-known artists to help bring to life this year's theme.

"When we say heritage, we refer to two things: The heritage of Angono as the cradle of art and cultural treasures, and the heritage of the Rebisco Special Designer Tin Can as an important part of the Filipino life," says Rey de los Reyes, Marketing Director of Rebisco.

Dominic Rubio

"This year, we are bringing back the Special Designer Tin Cans featuring artworks from a new set of artists—Dominic Rubio and Aljo Pingol, plus three budding artists from the city's first and only art-based academic school, the Regional Lead School of the Arts of Angono or RLSAA," he adds.

Rebisco also extends to RLSAA much needed assistance to the RLSAA and the young visual artists in the school by donating art materials and easels, stressing the importance of helping even though small means.

De los Reyes says, "To most people, art is a hobby, a diversion, a passion or a collection, but to these students, art could be a ticket to a better life. We're proud to say that  some of the graduates of this school are now successful artists and art practitioners."
