Bansalan, Davao del Sur”•SM Foundation’s OPTE (Operation Tulong Express) team has rushed to this town to extend assistance to victims of the earthquake that hit Davao Del Sur.
A total of 2,000 “kalinga” packs (relief packs) were distributed in Bansalan and Magsaysay towns for the earthquake victims from the Philippine Stock Exchange, SM Foundation, SM Markets, and SM Supermalls.

In Bansalan, the OPTE team visited barangays Anonang, Bitaog, Bonifacio, Buenavista, Mabunga, Sibayan, Tinongtongan, and Union.
The SM Emergency Response Team of SM City Davao and SM Lanang Premier, Davao City OCD/911 and Fire Volunteers, SM City Davao, SM Lanang Premier, MDRMO and MSWD of Bansalan helped in the relief distribution.
