In his speech, Marcial lauded the Women in News and Sports Initiative, Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs, ABC International Development and the Australian Embassy to the Philippines led by his Excellency Steven Robinson, for including our beloved Philippines in the extension of the WINS program.
He added: While there may be truth that sports media is male dominated, women are slowly but surely being regarded as an integral part, the heart of coverages here and out—their voices, the sound of hope and integrity.
