Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco, Rep. John Rey Tiangco and other city officials recently led the blessing of two additional dump trucks and various newly renovated offices at the Navotas City Hall.
Mayor Tiangco noted the need for additional trucks to boost the waste management program of the city through efficient garbage collection.
The officials likewise led the inauguration of the city’s upgraded first-floor offices, including the Department of the Interior and Local Government-Navotas, City Agriculture, Information and Communications Technology, Public Information, and NavotaAs Hanapbuhay Center.
Also inaugurated were the City Treasurer’s Office at the second floor and the offices of City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Internal Audit, Bids and Awards Committee, Barangay Affairs and Community Relations, Navotas Action and Command Center, and the Social Services One-Stop-Shop at the fourth floor.
The mayor reiterated the value of organized and effective delivery of services to all Navoteños.
“The improvement of our facilities is part and parcel of our mission of providing the best service we could give our constituents. We want Navoteños to feel comfortable and happy every time they come to the city hall,” he said.
“We also want our city government personnel to have a workplace that boosts productivity and performance,” Mayor Toby added.
The renovations formed part of a series of improvements of offices in the Navotas City Hall to make it easier for residents to avail the services they need.
