Super Radyo DZBB dominates Mega Manila’s AM radio

GMA Network’s flagship AM radio station, Super Radyo DZBB 594, reigned supreme in Mega Manila as it emerged as the listeners’ station of choice based on the latest data from Nielsen Radio Audience Measurement.

 In September, DZBB posted a total week average audience share of 31.5 percent, which surpassed DZMM’s 25.3 percent and DZRH’s 16.1 percent.

 Revved up by its strong weekday morning line-up, DZBB dominated the airwaves through its top-ranking news programs beginning at 5:30 a.m. with Melo Del Prado sa Super Radyo DZBB posting a 37.1 percent audience share, followed by Super Balita sa Umaga, Nationwide with 33.4 percent anchored by GMA News Pillar Mike Enriquez with Joel Reyes Zobel.

 Continuing to hold the listeners’ attention, Zobel’s news commentary Anong Say N’yo? registered 34.7 percent while the on-air tandem of Arnold Clavio and Ali Sotto on Dobol A sa Dobol B was also well-loved with 38.1 percent. 

Kay Susan Tayo! Sa Super Radyo DZBB hosted by Susan Enriquez likewise ranked first in its slot with an impressive 50 percent audience share as well as Orly Trinidad and Lala Roque’s Super Balita Sa Tanghali, Nationwide with 42.4 percent.

 More DZBB programs kept their winning streak throughout the weekday such as The Longtall Howard Medina Show, Bidang-Bida sa Dobol B, Bigtime Balita, 24 Oras TV Newscast, and Saksi.

 Meanwhile, top-rating weekend programs for the month were Headline Balita, Super Balita sa Tanghali, Francis ‘Kiko’ Flores on Board, Super Balita sa Hapon, Boses ng Balita, 24 Oras Weekend, Presinto 5.9.4., Radyo Romantiko, Buena Manong Balita, Super Balita sa Umaga Sunday Edition, Dobol B Bantay Balita sa Kamara, MMDA sa GMA, and Dis Is Manolo.

 Super Radyo DZBB 594 kHz also airs on television via Dobol B sa News TV from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on GMA News TV via free TV channel 27 and GMA News TV International.
