AIA Global Ambassador and retired six-time Premier League Champion David Beckham conducted a star-studded football clinic with the kids to promote healthier, longer, and better lives at Mckinley Stadium, in Taguig last Sunday.
"It's great to be back in the Philippines and to play football with these kids and coaches from the AIA Philam Life 7's Football League. I'm proud to be working with AIA and AIA Philam Life to help people live longer, healthier, and better lives," Beckham said.
The star-studded AIA Philam Life Football Clinic was composed of Philippine Azkals' superstars James and Phil Younghusband, Ally Borromeo, Armand del Rosario, Simon Greatwich, Misagh Bahadoran, Jason Dejong and Roland Muller.
Kids ranging from eight to 12-year-olds participated in the clinics dribbling, shooting and passing. The last part was proven the most exciting as the kids were given the chance to play with Beckham.
Philam Life's founder believes that Beckham's visit will leave a lasting memory to the kids and the league overall.
"With David's presence bringing football front and center in everyone's minds, we see this visit leaving a mark in the league for years to come," AIA Philam Life 7's Football League Founder, Anton del Rosario said.
Also present in the clinic were celebrities and influencers, such as AIA Philam Life Brand Ambassador Nico Bolzico, Daniel Matsunaga, Amanda Fernandez, Natasha Alquiros, Cesca Litton, Chris Johnson, Roberto Orlandez, Roberto Corsame and Richard Juan.
In Beckham's 20-year career, he was the first English player to win league titles in four different countries.
He also played with some of the most successful football clubs in the world such as Manchester United where he won his six championships, Real Madrid, A C Milan, La Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England National Team.
