A lively Vina Morales greeted the guests and some members of the press who attended the reopening of Ystilo salon in Festival Mall in Alabang two weekends ago.
She immediately went ahead to the ribbon cutting of the salon branch. Thereafter, she had a quick chat with the press to talk about her new television project, Sandugo, and how she juggles her time between show business and managing her salon, which now has 24 branches across the country.
The 43-year-old actress revealed that the success of the beauty salon chain became possible because of the help of her sisters and the hardwork of their loyal employees.
"It's the people you work with. I thank the Ystilo team for always rooting for each other," she started.
"And my sisters are very supportive. They're very hands-on. It's really the love for your work and your craft that make you last in this kind of business," she added.
Twenty-one years ago, sisters Vina and Shaina Magdayao put up the first Ystilo branch in Fairview. The two have been the hands behind its operations.
Vina was the face of Ystilo back then, and in the later years, Shaina eventually became an image model for the younger generation of Ystilo salon patrons.
"We decided to make our dreams a reality by starting a salon with a concept to keep clients in style," Vina told reporters.
"Our vision is to offer good and quality service to our clients. And our mission is to be the leader in the salon industry by providing the trendiest and updated hairstyles, providing reasonably priced products and offering excellent customer service,” the singer and actress carried on.
Ystilo, now known for its concept as a modern Spanish salon, is celebrating 21 years in the beauty salon industry. Behind the scenes, managing the operations are Sheila and Sheryll whose hardworking and determination made it possible for Ystilo to become one of the most successful and long-standing salons in the country today with branches in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
To thank its loyal clients, Ystilo has some big promos on its salon services running until Nov. 30. Visit the nearest Ystilo branch for more details.
Following the reopening of its branch in the South metro are the opening of its other branches in Marikina, Fairview Terraces in Quezon City and another in La Union.
