Mayor Oscar Malapitan has lauded the Caloocan City police and the Caloocan City Jail personnel for their respective exemplary performances that brought honor to the city government.
Malapitan lauded the city police after it received four plaques of recognition from the Philippine National Police during the 188th anniversary of the police station held at the National Capital Region Police Office at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City.
Caloocan Police chief Col. Noel Flores received the plaque recognizing the city police for the following services: Largest Volume of Confiscated Illegal Drugs, Number of Arrested Persons in Anti-Illegal Drug Operations, Highest Number of Confiscated Recovered Firearms, and Best City Police Station for 2018.
The Caloocan city government awarded the six policemen following their alleged successful anti-drug operations conducted last Dec. 8, 2016.
At the same time, the city government awarded the Caloocan City Jail for being chosen the Best Welfare Development Unit for the 2nd Quarter of 2019 Category A and Top 10 Male dormitory award at the NCR and Top 5 Best Practice Model in Jails Security and Control in the country.
“We laud the Caloocan City Police and Caloocan City Jail for the work they have put in toward this honor. You can count on the City Government’s support to reach our goal of a peaceful and disciplined city,” the mayor said.
