The 82nd season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, which opens with the centerpiece event of men’s basketball on Wednesday, gets a piece of the limelight in the 10 a.m. session with Executive Director Rebo Saguisag and Commissioner for basketball Jensen Ilagan on hand.
Manny Pacquiao Promotions President Sean Gibbons, meanwhile, will again appear in the public sports program presented by San Miguel Corp., Braska Restaurant, Amelie Hotel, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation to talk about the all-Filipino world title fight between Samuel Salva and Pedro Taduran for the vacant International Boxing Federation minimumweight championship on Sept. 7 in Taguig City.
And capping a busy forum will be the presence of volleyball stars Kim Fajardo, Dawn Macandili, Alex Cabanos, and MVP Kalei Mau to share about their experience of winning the PSL All-Filipino conference crown by beating Cignal in the finals.
