The National University Bulldogs are hoping to improve on their seventh place finish last year.
With seniors like Matt Aquino, Rev Diputado, Troy Rike and Dave Wilson Yu gone after graduation the National University Bulldogs will rely on the talented Ildefonso brothers—Dave and Shaun—to provide leadership for the team.
That’s because the Ildefonso brothers are seen to be able to take care of NU’s offense.
After settling for 4-10 win-loss record in season 81, eight remnants of the team from last year are raring to take on the challenges in front of them in the 82nd University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) men’s basketball tournament.
This is what will face the likes of veterans John Lloyd Clemente, John Galinato, JV Gallego, Issa Gaye, Enzo Joson, Dave Ildefonso, Shaun Ildefonso and Jonas Tibayan.
Joining them in their quest are returnees Robert Minerva, Migs Oczon and Chino Mosqueda, who just recovered from an injury.
And with coach Jamike Jarin still calling the shots, improvements in NU’s game plan could happen.
