The Bureau of Immigration has ordered the deportation of an American fugitive wanted by US federal authorities for drug possession and human trafficking.

The fugitive, identified as Corey West Glenn, was arrested last Sunday in Makati City by operatives from the BI’s Fugitive Search Unit.

Commissioner Jaime Morente said the 43-year-old American fugitive  would be deported “for being an undesirable alien whose presence here poses a risk to public safety and security.”

Glenn’s passport was revoked by the US government, thus making him an undocumented and illegally staying alien in the country.

Morente said that Glenn was wanted by authorities in Missouri and Arkansas where he is the subject of outstanding arrest warrants issued by the US courts.

According to BI intelligence officer and FSU chief Bobby Raquepo, a  warrant was issued against Glenn by the Judicial Circuit Court in Benton County, Arkansas on 18 July 2018.

Glenn allegedly failed to appear in the hearing for the charges of trafficking in persons and delivery of controlled substance that were filed against him.

Glenn faces multiple felonies and misdemeanor charges before the Missouri court, which pertain to various traffic violations and aggravated offenses, immigration sources said.
