Davao City’s Klyza Castro is the new Mutya ng Pilipinas 2019 after she was crowned Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City by reigning Miss Asia Pacific International Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel, the first Muslim woman to win the crown. Castro will represent the Philippines in the Miss Asia Pacific International Pageant in October in Manila.
