Through the network’s first-ever acquisition deal with Georgian broadcaster Telecompany Pirveli, several GMA dramas are aired on TV Pirveli, the latest of which is Impostora that premiered last July 15.

Other GMA dramas acquired by TV Pirveli are Stay With Me, The Stepdaughters, and Angela.  The series are dubbed in Georgian and airs weekday afternoons.

Impostora is the remake of one the network’s bestselling dramas The Impostor distributed in at least thirteen territories. It is also the first GMA scripted format to have a local adaptation in Cambodia. The Spanish-dubbed version of Impostora also had a successful run in Ecuador. It is the story of a woman with a disfigured face who goes under the knife to become beautiful, only to find out she will assume another woman’s life and identity. It stars Kris Bernal (Silent Shadow) playing dual roles.

Stay With Me tells the struggles of Thea played by Yasmien Kurdi (Ysabel), a wife and a mother who tests positive for HIV.

The Stepdaughters is about two women destined to be rivals who suddenly became family when their single parents fall for one another and got married, making them stepsisters. It is top billed by Miss World 2013, Megan Young.

Angela is also a rivalry drama about half-sisters played by Sanya Lopez (For Love or Money) and Thea Tolentino (The Half Sisters) who both possess superpowers: one can heal with her touch while the other causes pain.
