‘WPS dispute, fishing issues used in plot vs. Duterte‘

“With the continuing destabilization efforts coupled with moves toward impeachment, it’s not difficult to see the big picture why President Duterte’s detractors are jumping in like vultures on the Recto Bank fishing-boat and the territorial dispute issues,” singer, Anthony Castelo said, adding “Thank God we have a President who is determined, unwavering and is well-loved by our people.”

Castelo believes that these issues are being used heavily in the internationally and locally coordinated “Oust-Duterte” plot which ultimately the objective is to remove President Rodrigo Duterte from office either through impeachment, people-power or even assassination.

“Duterte’s enemy’s main target this time is the President’s character, his strongest trait—since all other accusations had not seemed to work. With the over-stretched fishing boat issue and the ongoing territorial dispute, they are stirring people’s emotions to influence public opinion locally and internationally by maliciously painting the patriotic Duterte as ‘insensitive’, ‘anti- poor’, ‘anti-Filipino’ and even ‘pro-China’, Castelo said.

“Oust-Duterte” plotters only have 36 months left to do it—before a new President is elected in 2022. Their strategy is to  build a basis for impeachment, organize anti-government rallies and hope to get the Filipino masses—Duterte’s strongest base, and the military to slowly turn against the president hoping to eventually get world leader’s to call for Duterte to step down, like they did to Presidents Marcos and Estrada,” Castelo explained.

“If you and I were heart-broken with what happened to our fishermen and at the same time angered knowing they were left adrift last June 9-so was President Duterte! He must have been fuming! It just wasn’t captured on TV!” Castelo said.

Castelo also believes that people have been caught up with the wrong media culture that, “If we didn’t see it in the news -it didn’t happen!” he said.

“The president’s deep sympathy for our helpless fishermen at that moment, mixed with anger with the situation were clearly reflected in his official statement through spokesperson, Secretary Panelo who said, ‘We deplore this act and if proven to be intentional, we are ready to break diplomatic ties with China!’ -that was actually President Duterte himself speaking thru Sec. Panelo! How much stronger statement did anyone expect to hear?!”, Castelo asked, adding, “However, I think the president decided to take a more cautious stand this time, instead of blurting out ‘off the cuff’ remarks regarding the incident. And rightfully so, as a trained investigator himself, he first waited for official reports to come in before breaking silence and making a public statement in person.” Castelo said.

Castelo believes that the next maritime incident in the region could be bigger, hoping and praying not -but if and when it happens, “It could just bring us closer to the brink of war”, Castelo said, adding, “With the next one, accidental or staged, you can expect war mongers to eagerly invoke the Philippine’s Mutual Defense Treaty with the US -ushering in a possible military confrontation between the super-powers… precisely the kind of conflict President Duterte is trying hard to avoid and prevent for the safety and protection of the Filipino people.”, Castelo said.
