Jollibee bags accolades at Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards 2019

Jollibee continues its winning streak as it took home eight (8) major awards including the highest honor for top officers in the recently concluded Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards 2019.

Topping the list is the 2019 Asia Pacific Tambuli Lifetime Achievement Award bestowed on Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) Founder and Chairman Tony Tan Caktiong who, with an inimitable drive and a visionary entrepreneurial spirit, founded in 1975 what is today one of the Philippines’ biggest brands.

Francis Flores, Jollibee Global Brand Chief Marketing Officer and Jollibee Philippines Marketing Head, took home the 2019 Asia Pacific Tambuli Chief Marketing Communication Officer of the Year. With his extensive experience in brand management and marketing, Flores is credited with spearheading, together with McCann WorldGroup Philippines, the game-changing brand love campaign #KwentongJollibee launched in 2016, with 26 viral videos to date garnering 300 million views. He also helped launch a number of online thematic campaigns that successfully put the spotlight on its flagship products and other delicious food offerings. Among these are the Chickenjoy Perfect Pairs Campaign, Yes to Jollibee Burger Steak with Anne Curtis, The Return of the Choco Mallow Pie, and the Jollibee Family Values Awards.

For its #KwentongJollibee series, Jollibee bagged the following prestigious awards: Gold Tambuliwith McCann Worldgroup Philippines for Kwentong Jollibee: Restoring the Joy of Love for the Cynical in the Seasons Celebration category; four Bronze awards in the Family-Centered Brand category for Kwentong Jollibee Mother's Day Series, Kwentong Jollibee Biyahe, KwentongJollibee Grand Thank You Project: A joyful tribute to hardworking lolos and lolas, and Sarap ng Pamilya (Chickenjoy Campaign); and a Bronze award in the Seasons Celebration category for Kwentong Jollibee High Five (Father's Day).

These awards from the APAC Tambuli adds to the more than 50 major recognitions from prestigious award-giving bodies in the country and across the globe that Jollibee has received. Furthermore, they serve as a testament to the strength of the company’s thrust in introducing marketing campaigns that are innovative, relevant, and very much in tune with today’s consumers.
