In May last year, Duterte tapped Orogo to serve as Social Welfare Acting Secretary from May 10, 2018, to Oct. 16, 2018. She was then replaced by incumbent Secretary Rolando Bautista, a former head of the Philippine Army.

Orogo aside, Duterte also named Aldrin Darilag as the new commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education. He will fill the vacancy left by now CHED Chairman Prospero de Vera III.

Darilag will serve as commissioner until July 21, 2020.

The Palace has also released the appointment papers of Aurelio Pangilinan de Leon as a member of the Philippine Racing Commission representing the Racehorse Owners’ Association.

Two days ago, National Food Authority Administrator Judy Carol Dansal was appointed by Duterte as an NFA council member replacing Jason Aquino.
