Getting exclusive first taste of the flavorful crispy fried chicken were showbiz personalities including Iza Calzado, Matteo Guidicelli, Pops Fernandez, and Jed Madela.
Also gracing the opening were JM Rodriguez who hosted the event, Vern and Verniece Enciso, Mikaela Martinez, Jason Abalos, and Kate Valdez.
Aside from its fried chicken that’s juicy not greasy, made fresh daily, and packed with Cajun-inspired flavors from Louisiana, USA, guests also indulged in Popeyes classic treats such as the original honey biscuits, Cajun rice, and chicken tenders. Their Popeyes experience were taken up a notch with new treats—the hazelnut and white chocolate biscuits, two delightful flavors which can be paired with your fried chicken or can be served as dessert, and Popeyes Spaghetti, a sweet, meaty meal that’s exclusive to the Philippines.
From entertainment personalities to diplomats, the opening of the first Popeyes restaurant in the Philippines was indeed a momentous occasion with so many firsts in the country.
