PH absorbs 2 quick losses at FIBA 3×3

The Philippines suffered two straight losses yesterday in the start of the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2019 in Changsha, China.

Thailand, led by Sukhdave Ghogar, won over the Filipinos, 14-11, in Pool A, before Qatar extended the Philippines' losing woes with a 21-17 win, with Fadi Abilmona hitting 9 points.

Against the Thais, RJ Abarrientos produced four points but hit 12 points against Qatar.

Ricci Rivero, one of the PH's players, has yet to show his dominance in the tournament.
