Davao-bound man found dead inside NAIA-3 restroom

A man who was supposed to board a plane for Davao was found dead inside a restroom at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Sunday, the Manila International Airport Authority said.

MIAA public affairs department officer-in-charge Consuelo Bungag identified the victim as Richard Alexander Parenas.

Parenas had checked in at 5:26 a.m. for a Davao-bound flight.

He was seen by a janitor enter the restroom past 6 a.m. Sunday.

The airport’s medical team received an emergency call at 8:19 a.m. after Parenas was found unresponsive inside a cubicle.

The MIAA medical team said the victim was also showing “beginning signs of lividity in the gravity-dependent areas of his body” when he was found.
