Senior citizens in Navotas City may now enter cinemas and watch films for free.
Mayor John Rey Tiangco and Robert Raymond del Rosario, president of Lalaland Funtertainment Inc., have signed an agreement allowing Navoteño seniors free movie access at Fishermall-Malabon.
Seniors need to bring their senior citizens identification card to avail the free cinema pass at the said mall every Monday and Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“This is but an expression of our gratitude to our Navoteño seniors for their invaluable contribution to the progress of Navotas,” Tiangco said.
“We want them to enjoy their time and we hope this simple perk will make them feel valued and cared for,” he added.
Navotas has around 15,000 senior citizens. To support their well-being, the city government, in partnership with the Navotas Office of Senior Citizens Affairs, yearly holds free pneumococcal and flu vaccination, sports tournament, health seminars, and others.
