Marjorie Idio, OGPI’s Communications and External Affairs superintendent, said more than P60 million worth of RPT was paid last week to the coffers of the provincial government.
“This 2019 RPT payment covers our 2018 operations within our areas of coverage,” she said.
Idio also said the local government unit of Kasibu also received P83 million for their 2019 RPT payment covering their 2018 operations.

Board member Patricio Dumlao Jr. expressed his appreciation and praised OGPI for paying their RPT on time.
“We hope that your previous RPT payment which was stalled because of an interpleader case will soon be settled in our favor,” he added.
OGPI operates the gold and copper project in Barangay Didipio in Kasibu town.
OGPI is expected to expand and explore other areas in Kasibu through a permit from the Office of the President under a Financial and Technical Assistance Agreement.
