His Royal Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Bahrain's Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and founder of Brave Combat Federation, arrived Wednesday to oversee the preparations for the coming Brave CF event in the country slated March 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid's visit is an important milestone in the diplomatic affairs between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Philippines as he is also expected to meet president Rodrigo Duterte.
This is also expressed as well through the endeavors of taking Bahrain's flagship Mixed Martial Arts promotion to the Southeast Asian nation.
Brave 22: The Storm of Warriors marks the first time ever that Brave CF visits the Philippines, bringing 10 international bouts to the country, with athletes representing multiple nations, including, of course, a legion of Filipino stars.
The fight night will be headlined by the Bantamweight World Championship match between the local hero and world champion Stephen "The Sniper" Loman against the Challenger, and former Featherweight titleholder, Elias "Smile" Boudegzdame.
Brave Combat Federation is a Mixed Martial Arts promotion under KHK MMA Bahrain through the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the prince of Bahrain. His vision is to create a global sports media property which would unite nations through sports and turn athletes into champions.
Brave 22: Storm of Warriors is Brave CF’s 22nd MMA event. The main card will feature Filipino fighter Loman, who will defend his bantamweight belt for the third time and for the first time on home soil.
