The indoor playground, located right in an integrated resort and world-class entertainment destination, delivers educational entertainment for children aged 1 to 16 years old.
“Since opening last year, PLAY has established itself as a pioneer in offering holistic child development in a convenient leisure destination like Okada Manila,” said Vikki Aquino, director for spa, fitness, and recreation.
Aside from immersing in the facilities, interacting with fellow children, and engaging in social activities in the eight different neighborhoods, young visitors and even their guardians can enjoy a variety of hour-long learning sessions with certified teachers and trained, qualified coaches to enhance individual abilities and academic knowledge.
“We have been first in offering a full line of dedicated programs that combine fun, play, and learning for our young guests. PLAY is more than just an indoor playground—it’s where kids can unleash their imagination, develop life skills, and enjoy the journey toward unlocking their future potential,” enthused Aquino.
Among the unique programs PLAY offers are Toddler the Explorer (motor skills development for children aged 1 to 3 years old), Hero Camp (group fitness activities for better health and well-being), Colors and Creations (arts and crafts for creativity and fine motor skills development), Hello, Good Looking (to enhance independence in hygiene, grooming, and social interactions for children aged 4 to 16 years old), and Stage Presence (stage workshops for guests aged 4 to 16 years old who are passionate about the performing arts).
Themed parties, educational tours, and other seasonal events also fill PLAY’s calendar. Aquino said each event is carefully planned and designed to deliver on the kiddie recreational area’s mission of holistic child development.
“And as we celebrate our first anniversary, we are throwing a month-long celebration that will definitely delight both children and their parents,” she said.
PLAY threw its first birthday party on Feb. 10. From 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., the whole PLAY crew hosted games and activities where participants took home special prizes.
Kids danced their way to fitness in the Zumbastic Dance Contest, played a competitively fun game of Giant Tic Tac Toe, and unleashed their inner artists at the crafting table during the Birthday Card Making activity.
Valentine’s Day was special, too. The PLAY coaches hosted a Distortion Competition right at The Stage, guiding the kids through different poses designed to enhance onstage confidence. The coaches also took the kids through a Basic Theater Workshop, which was followed by a short skit that showcased what the budding theater stars learned.
There was also a Languages of Love workshop, where kids were taught how to express their affections for their parents, siblings, and friends through different ways.
