The Best Center (Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training Center) returns to three Metro Manila venues for its weekend classes, which have produced hundreds of collegiate and professional cagers in the last four decades.
Classes at the Ateneo covered courts fired off last Jan. 5 and will last until Feb. 23.
Students in Levels 1-4 in basketball and Levels 1 and 2 in volleyball can still join the 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sessions.
The Christ the King Seminary on E. Rodriguez Avenue, Quezon City also has classes from 1 to 4 p.m. on weekends for students in basketball Leves 1 and 2, according to former national coach and Best Center founder Nic Jorge.
Sunday classes for basketball students in Levels 1 and 2 are also being offered at the Starmall in Alabang. Classes are set from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Best Center is a recipient of the Olympism Award by the Philippine Olympic Committee and is a Hall-of-Fame awardee by the Philippine Sportswriters Association. It pioneered scientific sports training in the Philippines. It has long been backed by Milo.
