Religious zeal

Thousands of Catholic devotees flock to the Quiapo Church in the heart of Manila (above) while thousands more gather at Plaza Miranda (below) for the first Friday Mass of 2019, only five days before  the Black Nazarene Traslacion on Jan. 9, expected to attract millions of the faithful to participate in the more than 3-kilometer procession from the Luneta to the Quiapo Church.
