Beauty pageants are now a dime a dozen. Still, new pageants pop up by the day in this beauty-pageant obsessed country.
Like this Miss Toyota Alabang 2019, possibly the newest beauty pageant to emerge on the beauty pageant scene.
This just proves that the Philippines has a lot of beautiful girls dreaming to have beauty titles attached to their names and wear the pageants’ crowns.
Miss Toyota Alabang 2019 is the launching project of Toyota Alabang, Inc. spearheaded by its Chairman Cesar T. Lee, Vice Chairman Michael M. Lee, and President and General Manager Jhoanna Lee See.
Last year, on Dec. 19, the beauty pageant crowned 19-year-old Kristine Charlotte Hammond at the Toyota Alabang Inc. Showroom. Jhoanna See, Deo Macalma, VP and station manager of DZRH; DOLE Sec. Silvestre Bello III; and Ernesto Echauz, chairman/CEO of Standard Insurance presented the prizes and the crown.

She said “After I exited from PBB, it opened doors of opportunity for me and I became an influencer/endorser for various brands. This is the only thing I can handle while I am studying and playing volleyball.”
Last summer, Hammond joined the Ms. Binan search and was chosen as first runner-up. She also won as 2nd runner-up in Miss Nation Queen 2017.
The production of Toyota Alabang 2019 was handled by famous fashion designer Renee Salud who was also one of the judges. The other judges were Sec. Bello, Bucor Director Geneneral Nicanor Faeldon, Macalma, Jhoanna Lee See, Echauz, hairstylist James Cooper, Don McGyver Cochico, Raphael Kiefer, president of Professional Models Association, Raffy Biazon, and former models and beauty queens Leren Mae Bautista, Desiree Verdadero Abesamis and Ana Abiera Del Moral.
