‘Magic on Ice’ is an illusion spectacle that has already wowed millions of audiences in the United States, Europe and Asia.

“Our show is the only show of its kind in the world. It has a very unique combination, world-class figure skating and grand illusions,” said Wheeler, who will be playing the part of the Voyager.

“The audience will see lightning fast appearances, vanishes and transformations, beautiful levitations, and death-defying escapes, and some real fun, interactive comedy numbers that involve members of the audience,” added Wheeler.

Sergejeva, on the other hand, will be portraying the dark and mysterious Raven, counterpart to Steve’s wife Tracey Lynn Wheeler, who gives life to the role of Ice Angel.

“Our shows are very different from competitive skating. I like it way more because you don’t have the stress that comes with competing, you just have the joy of performing and bringing smiles to people’s faces. I get to do elements that I like, enjoy, and feel comfortable doing,” said Sergejeva.

The 26-year-old pair skater and model represented her country at the 2010 Winter Olympics, went into her professional retirement at the same year, and has since performed theater acts and arena shows around the globe.

“When preparing for a show, we need teamwork. We have a cast of 20-30 people, we have props that we need to use, especially in a Magic on Ice where we use lots of insane and mindblowing props like you’ve never seen before,” explained Sergejeva with how the shows differ from competitive skating.

“Skating is the most amazing sport. It brings skaters so much grace and physique, and it’s not just in competitive skating. You can do so much more with it. It can also give you confidence when you pursue a different career in modelling or in acting,” she added.

Tickets to the dynamic fusion of mind-blowing illusions and thrilling ice acrobatics are available from as low as P190 for general admission to P2,335 for VIP seats via Ticketnet outlets.

There is a segment in the show, wherein kids from the audience can participate and interact with the actors.

The creative team behind “Magic on Ice” has worked on some of the best shows in the world including “Le Reve,” the only Las Vegas show set in an aquatic theater-in-the-round stage in Wynn Las Vegas Casino Resort; Cirque du Soleil’s “Mystere” and “O”; the 2006 Winter Olympics opening ceremony; and concerts of Prince, Sting, and Madonna.
