It’s the time of the year again when Vice Ganda serves the Filipinos, especially the kids, absolute fun and laughter for almost two hours in movie houses.
In Fantastica, Vice teams up with the most bankable stars and love teams to make sure that the tradition of making every Kapamilya happy continues.
Directed by Barry Gonzalez, the film also stars Richard Gutierrez, Dingdong Dantes, Maymay Entrata & Edward Barber, Loisa Andalio & Ronnie Alonte, Kisses Delavin & Donny Pangilinan, Bela Padilla, Ryan Bang, and the award-winning Jaclyn Jose.
Fantastica is about Bellat (Vice). She wants to rebuild the carnival called “Perya Wurtzbach” to save it from bankruptcy. The perya also serves as their home—Bellat, her mother Fec (Jaclyn), and her adopted brothers Daks (Ronnie), Pepe (Edward), and Junjun (Donny).
But because the family is deep in debt, it is threatened with eviction from the land by the family of Bellat’s former best friend, Dong Nam (Dingdong), until an old friend, Prince Pryce (Richard), comes along and offers a deal—help him find the lost princesses of their magical land named “Fantastica:” Rapunselya (Loisa), Maulan (Maymay), and Ariella (Kisses) in exchange for helping her rebuild the perya.
In their preparation for their return to “Fantastica,” everyone realizes that the portal needs to be opened and it can be done by gathering 10,000 “palakhak” (clap+laughter), and the only way to do such is to re-launch “The Perfect Show” that “Perya Wurtzbach” was once known for.
Also in the cast are MC Muah, Lassy Marquez, Chokoleit, Juliana Parizcova Segovia, Joven Olvido, and Hap Rice.
Produced by ABS-CBN Films’ Star Cinema and Viva Films, Fantastica among the eight official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2018.

Actor is after Bulacan’s top post
Third termer Vice Governor of Bulacan Daniel Fernando (born Cesar Fernando Ramirez) was on the rise as an actor in the late 1990s. And he could have been an established actor if public service did not beckon.
Fernando appeared in Peque Gallaga’s erotic film Scorpio Nights and Lino Brocka’s study of male exotic dancers Macho Dancer among others, mostly produced by Viva Films. He also appeared in numerous TV shows on GMA and ABS-CBN.
“But public service got the better of me,” he said and ever since 1998 when he became board member representing the 2nd District of Bulacan, Fernando has stayed on as public servant, loving every minute of it. And now, he is after the governorship, with no less than DILG Usec. Martin Dino endorsing him.
