Senator Grace Poe has topped the RMN 2019 election survey results for November.
Poe took the top spot at 72 percent, followed by Cynthia Villar at No. 2 (56.2 percent).
A surprising third is former senator and actor Lito Lapid (51.7 percent) followed by Pia Cayetano (50.6 percent) and another incumbent senator in Nancy Binay (46.1 percent).
But even as Poe has the lead nationwide, she only came in with 16.65 percent in the South Luzon region.
Meanwhile, first-time candidates Imee Marcos and Roland “Bato” dela Rosa also made it to the top 10 in the survey.
Marcos, the incumbent Ilocos Norte governor, is at seventh place (35.8 percent), while Dela Rosa, the former PNP and BuCor chief, is at 10th place (31.9 percent).
Other results showed that DILG Secretary and 2016’s losing presidential candidate Mar Roxas currently at eighth place (34 percent) and former Senator Bong Revilla at ninth (33.3 percent).
Vying for the last two slots in the senate race, the survey showed, are incumbent senators Koko Pimentel, JV Ejercito and Bam Aquino and former Senator Serge Osmeña who are statistically tied from #11-14.
Key players in their specific bailiwicks are Marcos, who moved up to #2 in North Luzon, Roxas at No. 6 and Dela Rosa at No. 7 in the Visayas.
Dela Rosa also placed a strong fifth in Mindanao, along with former SAP Bong Go at No. 9 slot, despite his No. 17 ranking nationwide.
A total of 3, 382 randomly selected radio listeners and registered voters nationwide were interviewed from Nov 6 to 17, 2018 for the RMN Networks 2019 Election Survey, conducted by the RMN Research Department (Tel. 815-8304) across the RMN Network of stations.
The data gathered were checked and verified by independent research consultants. The margin of error is (+) or (-) 2.5 percent.
The project is part of RMN Networks’ commitment to raise public awareness and voter participation in the 2019 elections.
