College students and tourists visit the crypt at the San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila. Here the remains of members of the Augustinian community are kept, including the ashes of Juan Luna (1857-1899) from Badoc, Ilocos Norte. At the center is the monument in memory of those killed during the Battle of Manila in 1945 between American and Filipino forces against Japanese troops.
