Try on a variety of tapas, take a bite of Thai barbecue, and get a slice of crepe cake all in one day as Shangri-La Plaza rolls out a delicious spread for mall guests at GourmetFest, happening at the Grand Atrium from Oct. 18 to 21. 

The four-day food fair offers new flavors and old favorites from participating restaurants serving varied cuisines—from Asian to American to European.

Rich Hispanic flavors come to life at Spanish bistro Wobbly Pan, where guests can indulge in tapas, paellas, and more. At Brotzeit, diners go through an authentic German culinary experience. Pasto carries signature Italian dishes while Balboa fuses Italian cuisine with American dining. 

For those looking for something sweet and light, Paper Moon’s crepe cakes and La Creperie’s famous crepes are a must-try.

Discover Asian favorites with a twist as Teppanyaki chefs at Akira and grill masters at SumoSam take Japanese dining to the next level. Foodies will surely enjoy Zao, which offers a taste of Vietnam. They are also guaranteed to take delight in Arya’s Persian cuisine as well.

Spice things up at Thai BBQ and Pepper Lunch, or warm up with a bowl or two at Ganso Shabuway. Shi Lin’s xiao long bao soup dumplings are also sure to be a crowd hit.

Those looking for more familiar fare will savor the all-American offerings of Epicurious and Tender Bob’s, as well as the unique sandwiches at Pages Deli and Pepi Cubano. Fill up on pizza with a twist at California Pizza Kitchen, and don’t miss the spread by Red Crab, where seafood lovers are sure to get their fill of fresh, juicy crabs.

Aside from discovering a world of delicious eats at special prices, guests can also look forward to live demos and workshops led by some of the best chefs in the country, as well as exciting promos from restaurants.

Beginner cooks and foodies can look forward to discovering the ultimate culinary experience as Metro Channel and Metro.Style launch the first leg of the “Metro Kitchen Series” on Oct. 20, 3:00 p.m. at the Grand Atrium.
